Fruiting Bodies seeks to demonstrate the viability of fruiting trees in the public realm, to make evident their many benefits, and their potential to engender a new participatory logic and to counter modernist ideals of the “tidy” city. Centered on the distinctive pawpaw tree, and the compelling narrative strands its history, growing conditions, and physicality suggest.

Inclusive Ecologies is growing! Founded in 2019, we have ambitious goals to engage with design, nonhumans, environmental justice, and climate change.
